The Wappingers Falls Parade and Festival is a Free Family Friendly Event

We focus on providing a healthy environment where families and people of all ages can be entertained and celebrate the second largest celebrated holiday in the United States.

Our Halloween parade is funded solely by sponsors, advertisers and donors. We receive no money from any public institution or organization to hold the parade or receive any services for free. Therefore as a participant if you would like to make a donation, place an ad or sponsor we would gladly accept.

The parade is organized and operated by a group of enthusiastic Halloween enthusiasts who volunteer there time to celebrating their favorite holiday. This includes all of our advertising, fundraising, participant recruitment, and parade day organization. So please be courteous to the volunteers (or join us if you like).

Our parade is a family-oriented event. No public displays or groups that the parade committee feels may be offensive will be permitted to participate. Since we are working in partnership with the Village of Wappingers Falls Recreation Dept., the Dept has the final say over the rules and regulations of the parade and festival.

We encourage you to be creative, innovative and fun with your entry into the parade. This is a Halloween parade and all participates are required to show holiday spirit by marching in costume.

Remember our parade is held rain, sleet, snow or shine. If for any reason there is some severe weather that would prevent the majority of participants from being able to attend the parade an announcement will be placed on the web-site 24 hours before along with the replacement date.

Lastly we encourage all participants and spectators to have fun and enjoy the day; however remembering we are a family event, public displays of intoxication will not be tolerated by anyone and law will be enforced.

Join the Hudson Valley Halloween Queen and her coven of amazingly spooky and talented soul sisters as they travel into the dark side of the Hudson Valley and beyond. If you love the macabre, join us and our spooky friends as we unearth great spooky events, and information that will fright and delight you about the area. We also plan and promote Halloween events. We have worked with various libraries and small businesses in the area to bring howling success to their holiday.
